I'm looking to sign my band with a booking agent to book our gigs for us as I'm struggling to balance work, life, band and guitarforum and still book enough gigs for my band.
Understand I'm not looking for a record deal or a management company, just a booking agency.
I've always done it myself, so I don't have much experience with this.
Anyone got some advice/ experience to offer as well as agencies you'd recommend I speak to or recommend I avoid?

Mr. M, i am signed with a Talent Agency called Talentz International. The woman's name is Kerry and she has guys like Micheal Mol, Micheal Catterson (94.7), Chilli and Lime and various other performers on her books. I would love to hook your band up with her if you are interested

Talent Agency? What does that mean vs a booking/ management agency?
Do they have a website/ Facebook group etc. where I can read up on them? From your experience with them, would you say they've done a good job booking gigs for you?

As far as i know they have a myspace page, search for Talentz International. Ja they have done a good job in booking gigs for me.

I'm not sure if they deal with bands, as I think they do mostly hip-hop and house music acts but BBE Booking Agency (www.bbebookingagency.com) does a lot of bookings in my area. Hope this helps.
