Identify these two guitars

nick

A friend's father used to play in some afrikaans band and these were his instruments. He has since passed on and no one in the family plays, she showed them to me and I was curious as to how old etc they were. Any ideas? No real hits on google as of yet.

AFAIK, both are early to mid '60s, low priced importer's brand guitars with no real collectors value. The Savoy, I've seen with at least three other names on the headstock.

Nick, that president guitar? i used to be the onwer of one, exactly like the one in the picture, its got a moerse vintage honky tonk sound to it.

The action is a bit high, you'll find it will make a cool slide guitar.
It came out of a ibanez factory in the 60's if I'm not mistaken.

Tesico Checkmate 25

Get that if you can! I bought Craig's checkmate 25, and it is a insane valve amp!
