Hey guys!
I was wondering, if I install a pair of Duncans, would they be coil tap-able, or does one have to buy a coil tapping pickup (if that even exists haha)? I have absolutely no idea how this stuff works, so any help would be greatly appreciated! ?
Thanks a lot!

I'm guessing you're talking about humbuckers and coil cutting them. Coil cutting is when a humbucker coil is shorted, turning it into a single-coil (while coil tapping is when a single-coil has an extra tap from the coil to swap between a lower and a higher output).
For coil cutting you need a humbucker with three or four wires coming off the coils. This is by far the majority of pickups from most manufacturers, and usually the only exceptions are the pickups designed to be as much like a vintage PAF humbucker as possible. So you almost don't need to specify it.

Aaaaah! Thanks a lot Alan - had a bit of a jumble there haha, but thanks a lot for the guidance! Do I need to install a switch, or does it work with push/pull pots, or what's the situation haha?

It's a common mistake. ?
You can use nearly any switch. With a DPDT (six contact) switch like a push pull, you can coil cut two humbuckers at the same time.
