Not much shredding there, nothing by Orianthi, little bit by Vai. Looking at her other vids she seems to be more of a blues player with some tapping licks thrown in now and then. She can play though, not taking it away from her. (And she does look good in them heels) ?

On a different note I haven't seen Vai jam on a 7 string for a new song in a long time, interesting that he uses it here. Damn he can be embarrassing to watch. I know I own the guy's signature guitar but still. Those faces and poses... ?

EDIT: Wantzchas - it's 'cos it's the UV not the JEM. ?

Novice mistake, thanks for clarifying. Are all the UV's 7strings? And what is the other differences between the UV's and JEM's?

Yep, UV = 7 string, JEM = 6 string. UV still has the same Blaze II Dimarzio pickups it had all these years. White JEM has Evolutions, black JEM has Breed pups. UV still basswood same as always while the white JEMs are alder. And the JEM has the monkey grip. Oh yes JEMs have the top four frets scalloped and bigger frets than the UV. No scallops on a UV. JEM - vine inlay. UV - pyramid inlay. That's what I know offhand.

100% correct, the JEM also have the Lion's Claw trem cavity, while the UV's have a normal cavity.
