Hey guys, I'm in my final year of high school and I want to study music performance in guitar at TUT next year.
I was wondering if any of you know how the auditions work? Like do you have to prepare something, how good should you be already? do they expect you to sightread?

hey sean best just contact them direct and hear it from 'the horses mouth" that way there's no confusion.....
and yeah good luck fwith the studies.......... and i would expect they would want you to be able to at least sight read even if not 100% fluently and prob either already have up to at least grade 12 or if not make you write an equivalency theory test . but thats what it was like when i studied... back when dinasours walked the planet.... so quite possibly things have changed. but i somehow doubt they will accept just anybody without some music education behind them.........
