racman I have been offered a 90's (95 I think) US Standard Strat in as new condition, It has never been played (well, for any length of time) and the varios tags, stickers etc is still in tact. So it is as if was still in the shop. My question is - at R9k is it a good buy?
AlanRatcliffe I think so. A modern Mexi would cost you that new, it's closer to the point where the value will start climbing and they are good guitars.
racman Thx Alan - the Strat was bought in '95 (ish) and then placed in a cupboard (in the case) until recently when it was discovered.
Riaan My question is - at R9k is it a good buy? I think so too, provided there are no hidden costs like an expensive gift for the wife/girlfriend to keep the peace, as in my case recently... ?
