What are you guys' opinions on the Daily Voice and Son's headlines on lamp posts? Not being a parent, they give me a chuckle some times, but they use some crass words there, in plain sight of daily commuters. I have often thought that these headlines could cause uncomfortable questions to parents, taking their kids to school. "Daddy, what does "pomp" mean? ?
I feel uneasy about such headlines sometimes, though I don't have kids.
I think people need to make their feelings felt. If radio station or newspapers get enough letters of complaint then they will react. If they get one or two then they will brush them off as PITA puritans or some such, but if they get enough it becomes something they have to deal with.
This is not censorship. This is democracy.
