I just read as much of his interview as I could stand. He may not be bi-polar but reading that I reckon he has some kind of personality disorder. Watch this space for when he shoots someone/ winds up homeless/ kills himself/ similar. His life of confessional diarrhoea rather creeps me out. It sounds a little bi-polar.

But like I said, I take nothing away from his musical capabilities.

You are free to report these things and get them modded, no? I'm sure that's fair enough if it's just a choice of words that will prevent someone from letting their kid read the forum.

Although, no disrespect, I knew what that word meant when I was 11, and it didn't turn me into a serial killer ?

Knowing what a word means, and condoning its use as a parent are completely different things. I've now said my last word on this in open forum. Let's hope we all get heavily moderated with a fair hand in this regard.

Thanks Chris. Your response here is exactly what I was hoping for in the first place such that I did not have to report you specifically, but that you'd remove the possibly offensive bit. Thank you for that - it speaks volumes about the high calibre of person you obviously are! Suppose I could have PM'd you orignally, but I was also hoping that with this being in public we can all learn a little something from it and help the mods by being careful of what we post. I've changed the quote of your post in my reply.

Which is what I was getting at, Bob, but I've recently noticed Chris has been posting via his phone's browser, and I don't think he has access to the Modify functionality... So, I think his hands may be tied.

For the record, we have no rules pertaining to use of language beyond that which is aimed to directly abuse an individual or group. I don't believe in controlling what is regarded as being "strong" or "bad" language - and feel strongly that doing so on the forum would be censorship. This means that anyone has the right to use strong language, as long as it is not aimed directly at another. On the other hand, I also believe the forum should be self moderating in that regard - and, just as an individual has the right to use such words, the other members have the right to say "please don't".

Jip. I work pretty long hours and my Employer doesnt allow us surf the Net at work. (Something to do with Productivity I think.) So my posts will mostly be from my cell, and that has a few limitations. You cant few pics, moderate posts, or initiate a Pm eg. So the mods will have to edit/delete my post or leave it be untill I get home at about 9 tonight and can do it from my laptop. I keep forgetting this is a Public forum and not just a few likeminded folks having a chat about guitars and other random stuff. Anyhow, no harm intended so hopefully none done.

Good call. I think that the personalities of those running fora have a lot to do with the tone within.

What are you guys' opinions on the Daily Voice and Son's headlines on lamp posts? Not being a parent, they give me a chuckle some times, but they use some crass words there, in plain sight of daily commuters. I have often thought that these headlines could cause uncomfortable questions to parents, taking their kids to school. "Daddy, what does "pomp" mean? ?
