Hey everyone!
I heard about a guy that wants to sell a Rectifier, and although I don't know if it's Dual or Triple, I still want to throw my bet at him!
Apparently it's in really good condition and it's 100% stock, but I'd like to know more or less what a good second hand price would be for it, e.g, what's the most you'll pay for it, and what's the least something like this ought to go for? He doesn't have a fixed price, but I don't want to over- or under bet, so I'm trying to establish a baseline as to how much I can come to expect to pay for that monster haha!
Thanks a lot! ?

Firstly find out if it is a Dual or Triple. Is it a head or combo?
Do you know this guy in person or is this a ebay bet?

It's a head, and the person actually lives in Cape Town. ? I really don't know about the Dual or Triple part, but it's not an auction, it's just a private sale - my dad actually told me about it, it's a client of his' son who wants to sell it. ?

My check turns up 15k to 30k depending on type, age and power. Will need to know more about it to be more accurate. Also check out if the 'stock' power tubes are still in; a new quad matched set would set you back another thou minimum. You can either go for Mesa branded bottles or get a bias mod done and have any kind + bias you like.

Aaaaah thanks a lot Gearhead! ? So if I offered him R13 with the optional R2 extra - for bargaining sake, then I would be getting a pretty sweet deal? (depending on the type, age and power as you said of course!) ? I don't really have much more than that haha, so hopefully he'll bite! ?

Offer him R10k, that way he can say no and then you offer him R12k!
Do not look to over eager!
Brilliant amp, and worth every penny!
