Where would I post a jam query?
evolucian
I have this piece I'd like to share with you guys... and girls. Basically a little mini jam. Its not to show off or anything, just a trade off of ideas and to learn something new I guess. Its merely a repeating pattern in 11/8 that continuously shifts accents.
So when I have the means to put it up I will... I just need to know where and who will be interested in giving it a shot?
PeteM
I don't where you would post it - But I might give it a shot. 8)

To upload the file, I'd suggest:
http://www.box.net/
To post the topic, probably under 'clips for review' or 'collaboration'. Also it might fit under 'lessons' if you have something to teach us with it.

Cool... Thanks guys... It might be up later today or whenever my new phone arrives. I'll plonk it in the collab section.
A little heads up about the track. It is only a repeating pattern... with accents falling in different places each bar. If you want to count it, go for it. I just listen to the pattern and jam.
It is also very dark. Very fusion-like... the only scales you can use (because of the note order of the riff) is G aeolian, G phrygian or G harmonic minor. With that in mind, its a track to make noise over and pretend you are John McLaughlin or Scott Henderson. You could even pretend you are Larry Carlton and play a 335 dot. Whichever you want to use.
If you are going to count it... then its a learning experience... I simply couldn't be bothered, lol...
Now, would you like it in 8 bar or 16 bar format to jam over... you can cut and paste it in your daw for however long you want it... I'll just give the clip either in 8 or 16, your call
