Bob-Dubery Here is the special guitar that Morgan built to mark 2000 guitars coming out of their workshop. More shots and details at http://www.morganguitars.com/swag.aspx
Bob-Dubery FYI there is a link between Morgan and Ramirez - the famed classical maker that has been discussed from time to time on GFSA. Jose Ramirez's son Jose Ramirez II trained one Marcello Barbero in Spain. Barbello took on Edgar Moench as an apprentice after WW2. Moench relocated to Canada and took as an apprentice Jean Larrivee. Larrivee, in turn, trained David Iannone who now makes guitars under the Morgan brand. Larrivee has trained several people who have gone on to make good guitars. So guitars from Larrivee, Morgan, Linda Mazner, Grit Laskin and David Wren all have a link back to Ramirez. The "lineage" is all classic until Larrivee, who started making classicals and then turned to steel string guitars.
singemonkey Stratisfear wrote Very nice, Bob - I like it. That monkey has a tail coming out of its foot! Hahaha! Well spotted. I wouldn't buy that guitar til they sort out that monkey. Also, what's this doing outside the official pr0n thread then?
