Must say that I've enjoyed the action of every Cort I've played - and damned well made and finished.

Great looking guitar, I was interested in one going on CPT gumtree a while ago!
The reviews just blasted the guitar out of the water. It came down to replacing the pups to get tone out of it!

Can you give us a quick review on the guitar?

Ahh , my student has one of these.

She had to get it in from Cape Town.

Cool grafix and I love the Ship Wheel/ Gears thingy on the 12th fret.

Cool guitar. Stays in tune too.

Hi Lean, as I've said before, I quite like the playability, the action is a tad on the high side, but I'm sure with a bit of a set-up that could be remedied. (But I am obviously comparing with all my guitars, which are "near perfect" (ITO set up, etc). However, I'm not going to let her do anything on the guitar yet, as it seems fine, no fret buzz or any such problems, until she knows a bit, then let her play my guitars, and make a final decision.

The pups do seem a bit sensitive to distortion, but again, for now she only needs the cleans. Below are the specs:

Yeah, well now this is a really stunning guitar........never thought of ever getting a HollowBody........but if I did, it would be a PRS, not a Cort.

Still, a stunning looking guit..........The Cort Yorktown.

Actually I think it's quite a beautiful guitar.........I guess you're right, Don, never thought I would ever touch anything that was not MIA, but now I actually have a few non-MIAs.......hahahaha.... gotta have an open mind..... ?
