ezietsman Hey People, I want to get a hardcase for my Epi Les Paul. I'm thinking of getting a fairly good one so that my future Tokai can live in it when it comes. Take2 is selling a SKB 56 for R1300. This looks fairly good to me. Does anyone have experience with these cases or know of good cases I can find in Cape Town that wouldn't break the bank? The Aria/Stagg cases looks fairly flimsy and the Gator cases comes all bent from the ship (The ones I've seen at a big store in Cape Town). Thanks! Cheers
dee I'm currently using a Warwick RockCase that works quite well. My Vintage V100 fits like a dream inside it. http://www.warwick-distribution.de/?katID=21875&cl=EN&did=1
CDee I also used a Warwick Rockcase (the LP shaped one). Worked well for me. Sold it with the guitar to Inflames. (Maybe send him a PM, he might still have the case)
Danny-B My friend keeps his Les Paul in one of these: http://more.take2.co.za/moreusa-skb-les-paul-type-shaped-hardshell-tsa-latch-over-molded-handle-b0015b0eb8.html Super solid, he used it to transport the Les Paul from America in it.

ezietsman I order that case today. Expected delivery 1 March. Its not the one with the fancy TSA latches though, the previous model with the smaller chrome latches. Looks like good cases. Also weighing in at 3kg versus 454grams for the Epi case I thought it'll be sturdier. Thanks for the advice guys.
Corne My Epiphone Les Paul was in a Gator Les Paul case. Worked well, but......... I have notice that "most" so called Les Paul cases do work well. Thing is most of them are a bit big around the body, or to deep or the body. they also tend to have more presure on the headstock and not on the neck. Just check a few out before purchase
