Steve Morse guitar raffle ? ...an idea

They say Steve Morse is an awesome guy..... An idea ?.........perhaps someone here has contacts with the promoters involved in the upcoming Deep Purple tour.... I'm sure , with a bit of persuasion , he'd be prepared to 'raffle off ' one of his 'spare' guitars , plus some Deep Purple goodies as runner up prizes , for a good South African charitable cause......say R200.00 per ticket ??...i'd gladly pay that !! This would be an SA first , if someone , ( in collaboration with GFSA of course), could organise this . 8)

yeah excellent idea............. someone very wise taught me years ago............"never be afraid to ask anything...... the worse someone can do is "Say NO " so yeah why not ..... maybe even mention the forum and ask if any comp tickets could be made available...or what would be awesome is if a group from the forum could be allowed to hear the soundcheck and get to meet the band......... this last thing i know many artists do...and i met Duran Duran that way back in 90's ....

yeah so someone get the authority to ask on behalf of the forum...it must be official...then ask ...whats to lose????
