+1 Andrew, the alternative would be to swap it for an amp and a cheaper guit and join a band. You will want to buy it back in half a year ?

Thanks Andrew and all for the feedback. See the thing is that I'm not that into playing anymore, the only reason I'd want to keep it is because of sentimental value, which doesn't really justify keeping it. My father and brother are more into their music than I am. I have another expensive hobby that I spend all my time and money on, off road dirtbikes, so I thought maybe the guitar should go to a better home where it will be played and appreciated. I have my acoustic for those rare occasions when I feel like playing a bit.
I've put it on Gumtree to see what response I get, who knows, might sell it, might not.
