I love these guys. Do we have other 16 Stitch & Wickhead fans around here? What other SA bands have a similar vibe? Have you seen them live? If not, you should! So much energy and I just really think their music is awesome.

MIKA-the-better-one
both do not exist anymore in sa...... ?
NorioDS
Did they break up? Emigrate? What did I miss?
Lethe
16 stitch broke up last woodstock. The singer is now in Zebra & Giraffe on bass (and at music connection ). Wickhead is in the USA somewhere playing some B- grade generic rock.

yep spot on, 16 s tich... are no more, the singer has surrendered to electro rock, and wickhead last I heard were busking with mexicans in LA (not really but close) On the bright side if you like that music pestroy are still together ?... Or you could check out a band called We the Sage...... very good in that style

Ja I dig Pestroy. Very sad to hear about Wickhead + 16Stitch. :'(
Will check out We the Sage - thanks Mika ?

+ 2 for WeTheSage cool. Really cool guys and good music.
The guitarist and the vocalist share duties on the Sampler.
How cool is that ? (Guess it's one less member to worry about)
Pestory was Freaking Brutal last weekend at Thornfest.
That RG1527 was sounding better than ever !!!!!!

I love 16 Stitch.. heard them at Burn once and at one of those free beach concerts. I'm so sad to hear that they've split up, they were epic. Petals Fall is my favourite song of theirs.

I smaak both bands big time.
I loved the guitaring for 16 stitch, it was like Breakbeat playing.
Wickhead as well were fantastic. I have their first albums and even the 16 stictch T-shirt and Wickhead lanyard... :-[

on that note, that shirt was great quality and is still going strong after 5 years.
Corne
was drinking last night and listening to both my 16 Stitch albums

I must admit i never liked any of these bands, i did somehow keeprunning into them on the gigging circuit though........ I just find that alot of that hard post hard rock/ nu metal rap is in response to a scene that flourished back in the late 90s in the usa and europe
