Found her in a bar in Detroit. It's his ex-wife. See it's chick -> groupie -> girlfriend -> fiancee -> wife -> ex-wife.
A drummer roommate of mine once made the comment that no guitarist so insignificant there's no groupies for him/her.

I've also downloaded all the "ITG Loud" movie in parts from Youtube and watched it.

Dude, it's totally fair to rag on bands and performers you don't like on this forum. But, firstly, we generally try to substantiate why we're saying these things (explain) and, secondly and more importantly, your little rant comes off as offensively sexist. She's not a drummer? She's a drummer chick? And then you feel the need to say it again, in case we missed the terrible fact that Jack White hired a woman as a drummer. What exactly is so important about her being a woman that you felt compelled to include that? The implication is that you think that the fact that she's not good, in your opinion, has a lot to do with her sex.

To all the Jack White haters - listen to Ball and Biscuit. IMO his best work, and probably my favourite guitar solo(s).

I think the DVD was released around the 5th of May in SA stores...

I enjoyed the DVD very much, something different...I like different.

Edge - Have respect, I don't know how he knows whats going on with all those effects...for me Distorion & Clean [Reverb]

James Page - Semi retired oom, I think he has done all he wanted to...love Zeppelin!

Jack White - He's always been "weird" sice he's been a young boy, doing his own thing on the guitar. I like his style!

Haven't watched the doccie, but the little i have heard of Jack White didn't captivate me.
Love the U2 stuff and the Zep stuff, but its time for Page to call it a day.

Just kidding... have a look at Under Blackpool Lights DVD to see some of the magic that people love.

I should add that he's less a guitarist than a song writer, as discussed way up in the thread.

Rented this last night, finally! so it is out in rental stores for those who haven't seen it...

It's always interesting to see different people's methodologies when it comes to music, and thats what made this interesting. I figure, use whatever allows you to express yourself - whether it's a million $ delay pedal rig or a guitar that some kid has jumped on ?

i like going back in time an hearing muso's describe their roots an how it all began and from that angle i enjyed the movie.. white not ever really been on my radar but i must say i was mesmerised ...

a good movie , worth the watch but prolly wont watch it again for a long long time.

It's a very enjoyable DVD, as stated before it's the DVD that got me into the white stripes. Jack White is very good.
Both the Edge and Jimmy page are great muso's and respect to them, but saying that Jack White stole the show.

As a foot note, after seeing U2 this weekend, you have to give it up to the edge for writing some very good rock anthems, hey you try write a song that 70000 people sing, hum and dance to, then we can talk ?
