Where can I buy speakers for an amp in SA?
TomCat
I presume you are talking about a guitar amp.
Unfortunately guitar loudspeakers are like hens teeth here.
What amp do you have and what style do you play?
D-Man
Haha.
I was hoping you wouldn't ask. Its a Sanchez 15watt guitar amp. The current speaker is a 6,5inch 8ohm speaker. I generally play slightly heavier stuff but I love my cleans too. I'm just looking for nice lows and mids.
But if it's gonna cost me a small fortune then I'd rather wait a while and make do with what I have and can afford.

HeHe....Sorry i asked..... ?
Might be easier to go for a "new" amplifier.
Something to look at if budget is really tight is a Vox Pathfinder 15. It's a solid state amplifier, 15watt and sounds really good for the price. We have one and it works very well.
I've seen some go on gumtree etc for as little as R 800.00. I believe Music Connection might have a second hand one going for about R1k at the moment.
Might be worth giving it a try.
