This is a very small instrument actually. I'd guess about the same size as a tenor uke. Tuned like a guitar but pitched higher by a 4th. IE it's like playing a regular guitar capoed at the 5th fret.

Very good quality. Projects surprisingly well.

I think this has potential not just as a travel guitar but as an instrument in it's own right and with it's own possibilities.

Depends on what you call "mini". It's not mine and I didn't try it in the shop. Suggest you hightail over to Music Connection and see what kind of deal you can get. Remember it's solid top, has a pickup and pre-amp and you get a gig bag. I'd think you'd get one (if they have any left) for 4.5 K, maybe less.
