The Prodigy

Just got their latest album "Invaders must die" after I heard it at CCHQ.
And it seriously rocks! Awesome grooves and beats with a bit of heavy/ industrial feel to it.
Anyone else out there into this band? Or any other vibes like Drum'n'Bass?

Byron

Yeah i like them. Its nice to have like a party dance kind of band with a darker image. interesting alternative

LooneyAtTheGate

Yes they're brilliant - guitar work is simple but perfectly suited to the music, giving it a darker edge.

Saw them live here about 9 years ago (i think?) and they kicked ass! The audience was divided into 'ravers' and 'rockers', each experiencing it in their own way: the ravers dancing in lines behind the rockers who were moshing and crowd surfing! ?

Lethe

wow, sounds awesome. I don't like you. ? wish i could see them live.

Rob-dos

my drummer said he is getting tickets to the concert for his birthday from his parents.. it could just be to an overseas concert, he is a rich child, but i assumed it was in SA
apologies if i understood him incorrectly and im wrong, its not right to make such claims, the amount of led zeppelin return tour things i heard made me want to punch someone, sorry if im wrong
i didnt believe the deep purple coming to SA when i first heard it..

Rob-dos

nothing on their official page, il talk to him and find out what his story is.. apologies

Oh well if thats true i'd definitely fork out to see them again! Well worth it! ?
They give new meaning to the word 'stage presence'!
