Amp or Interface???????????

I'm in a bit of a pickle here.

I have 2 pretty good guitars (ibanez SA120ex and Cort SFX1F) but I don't have a good amp. I have a very beginner 15 watt sanchez amp. So now i'm wondering: Should I buy a good audio interface or a new amp. Keep in mind that I have no effects pedals and the further under R2000 the better.

I'm considering one of the Native Instruments products but something tells me thats not gonna be in my price range..... Or is it?

The Native Instruments stuff will be out of your budget range - especially with the interface.

Get yourself a Roland Microcube amp - inexpensive and great sound. A few built in amp types and effects. Well worth the money.

Just personal but I'd go for an amp. May be possible to get some of the previous model Valvetronix pretty cheap.
