Epiphone Les Paul, found digging around in a pawn shop & my other guitars

Found this little honey in a pawn shop tucked away behind the counter....R1900, I think it was worth it. She plays like a dream and not a scratch on her. Guitar 01 Year: 1976 Ibanez Double neck 12 String / 6 String This one was issued before Ibanez got sued by Gibson for copying the Gibson model. All they did was change the headstock design after the lawsuit. Guitar 02 Washburn "Culprit" Born in 1998, designed by Dimebag Darrell, I'm gonna cry........it's that beautiful. Guitar 03 Ibanez RG Custom, we customised this ourselves, paint job, scaloped the wood below the floyd rose, cut out the handle in the body, new tuning heads and had a stainless steel scratch plate laser cut. The paint job is actually a plastic wrap that you find on plastic soap dispensers in public toilets, we digged the look of it and had it wrapped onto the guitar body, then put a high gloss spray ontop. When I opened the head up, I saw a sticker dated 1961, but will double check. There should be a way of tracing it through the serial number.

With Marshall amps, numbers like 1961,1959,1960 have no bearing on year of manufacture....eg. 1960 is a code for a cab with 4 speakers eg. celestions

Thanks for the info, that clearly explains why there's a 1961 sticker in the head, I'll open it up on the weekend and have a look, I'm quite intrigued as to find out the exact date now.
