I am looking for a really really cheap mic pre amp to record my accoustic if possible a sound card with a build in pre-amp for under a R1000, usb or pci is ok. will i beable to get one for under a R1000 or if not just a pre-amp for now will do.

Light Snake has a xlr to usb which work queit well .
