True, but even still, this is far faster to work with. On a standard monophonic tuner if you hit another string by accident the sympathetic overtones cause the root note to waiver, leading to inaccurate readings, so you sit like a pleb on stage going 'plink, plink, plink' through each string, this is way faster. if you gig then this is a lifesaver, if you are just a bedroom warrior then I don't think it is worth an upgrade from whatever mono tuner one is using.
