Stripping the paint from guitar body, need help

in the previous topic we talked about guitar cleaning.

I did the sand paper thing using 80,150,220 grit sandpaper and it worked,it just took a long time.
Would anyone recommend chemicals for guitar stripping? like "ACETONE", found a tutorial, would this method be easier, and will it work?

Strippers are useless most times, as polyester finishes are immune to any stripper or chemicals until they get to the type of stuff that will attack the wood too. When you get a nitro or acrylic finish, they work fine.

A heat gun is usually the easiest way to strip a modern finish.

Freshly broken glass anyone? I've stripped painted furniture and window frames with broken glass, not sure that I would have the guts to do my guitar though. ?
