Component supplies in Jo'burg?

OK... the problem with my MM-4 is definitely the socket for the wall wart power. I can fix this myself (if I get my hands on a solder sucker/remover). I really don't want to take it into some shop and have them send it to the suppliers (part of the Marshall group) who will leave it lying in a workshop for weeks and then charge me some hideous amount of money.

So where's a good component supplier in Jo'burg? If I can get another socket I can probably fix this myself (and have a beer while I'm doing it).

Popped in there this morning. Very nice, helpful guy - as you said.

Thanks

Well a nice happy ending all around. A whopping R6 for the component. I haven't done any soldering for some time now, but I took the old socket out, tinned the pins on the new one, soldered it in place, re-assembled the unit and hey presto! it works - with batteries and wall wart.
