G Anyone work in an office where loud music is allowed? In the design studio i work we are, and have hear the new black eye peas album atleast 10 times this week (i'm not a black eye peas fan).
Heath i have my mp3 player and large very loud headphones to drown out the other peoples music . i dont listen to hip hop which is all they bloody play here
dee I work in an open plan studio where the radio is on Tuks FM most of the time. Fortunately as well, the guys closest to the radio are all old school & alt rock fans, so most of the music is my type anyway. Rest of the time I'm on my Ipod, missing all my phone calls. Oops.
dee AMikeM wrote Dee, where do you work as well? Sorry fo OT again!!! ? I work at an animation studio, here in Faerie Glen. Beats an office job any day of the week!
Conrad I just use headphones. I can't stand most radio stations. Today it's just Nightwish & Mozart's piano concertos LOL.
Bob-Dubery Office music usually boils down to attempts to play music that is designed to be inoffensive. Which is the music that I find the most annoying. Unless you have an office full of like-minded or open-minded persons it's better to have monastic silence or to mandate the use of earphones.
Bob-Dubery G wrote I work at a web design studio. I don't do that much coding these days, mostly just coding. Errrrmmm.... that's like saying I don't play guitar much these days, mostly I play guitar ? I'm not sure what you meant, but I doubt you meant that. ?

inflames I work for a IT company, so everyone has their earphones on. I spend at least 7 out of the 8 hours at work with earphones on :bopping: If I worked in a office were music was playing I would have gone nuts!!!!
