I bought the Eric Clapton Crossroads 2007 Guitar Festival DVD over the weekend. These things are always good to watch because you get to 20 or so top class guitarist strutting their stuff. A little while back a started a thread on plectrums, well after watching these guys I am almost ready to throw plectrums away. Some of the highlights: Steve Winwood together with Eric Clapton doing the Blind Faith thing. John Mayer - what can I say. Jeff Beck was good but playing bass next to him, Tal Wilkenfeld, 21 years old, being playing bass for what about 3 years and has already toured with jazz great Chick Corea. Oh yes, for those who don't know, Tal is, a very appealing young woman.
