Sean So I noticed a VERY annoying buzz on my Hamer the other day >☹ Very bad on the B string and less so on the E. After a little hunting, discovered that the adjustment screws on the tom were loose. So I "tightened" them, well, until there was resistance, I obviously did not want to change the intonation. However, the screws keep loosening when I play. I am enjoying the guitar very much and I might consider upgrading the hardware at a later stage. Obviously the tom, bridge etc. is a bit on the cheap side (it's not the mia Hamer) so I could upgrade them, however, if I do, it will only be much later. What can I do about the screws vibrating loose in the meantime? Ideas?
Sean TomCat wrote I'm not cheap and all my screws are intact and tight........ ? ??? ? Yes, very insightful, thank-you Tom ?
AlanRatcliffe Drop of nail varnish on the thread (preferably clear). Strong enough to hold it, but easy to break when you do want to adjust it again.
