Anderson A-Wedgie

Saw an Anderson solid body yesterday that had the new(ish) A-Wedgie neck/body join

I don't see how the contact surface can be more if you chamfer, but alright. It does have more body wood in the heel area (and just about as much less neck wood). One thing is for sure: you can't alter the neck angle, the neck height or anything. I'm not convinced ???
Mr. Anderson tends to get a lot of things right, so it probably does work well.

besides the good points that gearhead makes , in my eyes , looks like a very good idea tonal anyway , better contact , means better transfer of sound ..

An observation I have heard about Anderson guitars is that they are TOO perfect. So it maybe that Anderson can't imagine that anybody would want to change the neck angle etc.
