Had a Cry Baby and it was really good.Stupidly swapped for a vintage boss ce2.Havent tried the vox though.

I would definitely recommend the Jimi Hendrix Cybaby, but if you want a bit more range the Zakk Wylde is also a good option.

I do, probably the best crybaby of the lot...
For something traditional the Budda Budwah is brilliant and has some good following.
Then you can go all out and get the best if you have some bucks, the Teese RMC range...

My vote is the Zvex Wah Probe just for its pure insanity and the sound is second to none imo... but might be a bit to different if you looking for something traditional... I love mine and wouldn't trade it in for the world...

Do look into them both, just depends what you want in a wah !

PS : the VOX Big Bad Wah looks like a winner too, according to the Utoob clips anyways - have not tested one yet, but SOON !

At the entry level of decent stuff, I personally think the Vox V847's nicer than the basic Crybaby.

My own wah's the Dunlop Crybaby from Hell (Dimebag signature). Not because I'm a Pantera fan, but because it's got such a wide range of adjustability which allows me to tailor the wah tone depending on which geet I'm using. A little fiddly to use at first (until you get to know what does what) but it's a nice wah.

Heard good things about the Hendrix sigs as well.
