Who stock the Vox AC50 & AC100's ?

Turnkey music (tuerk) is the importer i think.

these are serious amps though , u sure u need that big , the ac30 is plenty loud and excellent

YUP, they have the gain structure i am after. (very close to that illusive tone in my head)
The 2nd channel sounds nuffing like tame lil ACfurty :

Listen to the last minute !

And an AC30, i.e. EL84-driven can NOT give me the low end thunder i am after.

I had the ac 50 head for awhile, amazing little amp (not really little) If you are in jhb area???? Music connection stocks them, along with alot of other vox stuff, if in cpt..... idno ...... ooh and the ac50 is no louder than the 30, it really is pretty much the same

What did you think of the amp's gain ?

I had the ac5 0 and matching cab, excatly whats on that last vid (with the samll american) The dirty was in my mind no good.... BUT the clean channel you could dial in the exact amount of breakup you wanted, and then drive that with a booster or low gain od and you will be very happy, then just add a fuzz. No it was a agreat amp, never gave me one problem, I traded for a very old fender twin (to some ppls disgust and other joy) The twin suited me better I think or hope. Really though I had my buddy bring his ac30 with alcnico blues out and we tryed both an0d they sounded pretty mch of the same standard.
In the stores you could get the whole combo at (212 cab) for R10 000 (even cheaper like I did, brand new at R5000
