aja My girlfriend bought me this amazing padded leather strap that is super comfy. However, with the strap on the acoustic, it will simply not fit in its hard shell case. So I need a good way to attach and remove the strap from the guitar every time I play (something other than almost bashing the guitar up every time I use all of my strength to get the strap pins through the rather tiny holes in the strap.) Are there strap locks for acoustic guitars with some provision made for the jack socket of the electric pickup? Is there some MAcGyver solution like Grolsch rubber washers and an old toothbrush, coupled to shoelaces and a lightbulb? BTW the guy at Music Mate in Cresta says no such solution exists...
Bob-Dubery Cut one of the holes on the strap a little bigger so that it fits over the end pin jack? And you might also find some useful ideas at http://www.guitarforum.co.za/general-discussion/strap-falling-off-of-end-pin-and-a-cure/
