Very nice. What made you want the Trem on it?
I've wanted that classic Bigsby sound for a long time. I was thinking of putting one on a second Les Paul. But since that guitar will have two humbuckers, it won't be my first choice for rockabilly stuff - where I'd want the Bigsby the most. So it makes the most sense to put it on the P-90 LP.
In the past I was hesitant because the prevailing wisdom in the super-strat era was that they can't stay in tune. Since then I've discovered that if the nut, bridge and tuners are all working together, tuning is not a major issue with a Bigsby. People also talked about how it can change the sound of the guitar - but all the bigsby Les Pauls I've heard have sounded great (including Dr. House's LP ? ).
Bigsby's have a unique sound. They don't move far, so they're not for huge effects. It's a subtle sound which is difficult to simulate with other vibrato systems. I'm also delighted to learn how light they are, cos that Les Paul is heavy. Very heavy.
