I'm not sure about the unprecedented levels of GAS, but other than I heartily concur.

It has been a good year, at least for me. I can honestly say that I have progressed in my guitar playing this year.
I have learned a lot from all of you on the forum, but most importantly you have pushed me to discover things for myself, I have crossed over the mountain on to the next level.
Home recording was a huge thing for me this year, and I am only at the very start of journey.
My one resolution will be to play a live gig this year, Most probably an open mic night. This is the one demon I still have to put to rest.
But good stuff and huge greetings to all of GFSA ?arty: ?arty: ?arty:

I concur with Squonk, feeling like certain aspects of my playing (and understanding of the guitar) have accelerated markedly since I've joined the forum. This is partly a function of heightened, consistent focus that comes with contact highs, shared excitement and motivation; it also comes from direct intervention. On that score, I have to issue some grateful thanks to (most specifically) Messrs. Ratcliffe, Bryson, Onraet and the right honourable Aubness. Thanks, and I look forward to more of the same this year.

Last year was the year of the interval, the minor pentatonic scale over the whole fretboard and relearning music theory.
2010 will be understanding and using modes and seeing what is relevant to my playing and working on chord tone soloing.
I was a four fret wonder with a capo for too long....
