I mentioned him on my list of top ten guitar tracks.The racer x technical difficulty song.From all the stuff he did i like all the songs with racer x the most. I think the problem with him is that he did allot that other people did before him.He was not really revolutionary.He got allot of fame from all his instructual videos

Agreed, while he may not be the best player technically speaking, he is one of the cleanest and understands how a guitar works.

What do you mean? LOL. I think he IS one of the best players technically speaking. You are right about his understanding of guitar but heck...he does SHRED when he chooses. He has amazing speed.

I don't think he is in any way the same as other guitarist. His tone is very distinctive and Technique flawless... His also very down to earth and honest. I won't mention names, but there are ALLOT of guitarist that try to be mean and cool lol ???

Agreed! whats the use if you can play 700000bpm but you cant play clean or do anything right
