So i my travels to find a drink this afternoon ... Me and the better 5/8 stopped at all bang and strumit (thanks keira for reminding me of the place) .... Just for a browse ... And happily walked out with a squier standard strat in candy apple red , black plate and white pickups and knobs , besides looking absolutely sexy , she sings like a horney angel ...... And got her for a song . Will post some pics and maybe a clip or two in the morning

Jealousy makes me nasty. So I will rather just keep quiet...

Congrats! I love candy apple red guitars (but have never owned one AFAICR). Black guard must be a retrofit - they are usually white. Maple or rosewood board?

@Alan , rosewood fret board , twin pivot trem , and what looks like gotoh tuners .

Only thing i can find wrong with it at the moments is the jack is a bit effie , so will drop in a new one , and needs strap locks . other then that she is amazing . the black plate does look like a retrofit thou . but looks amazing on the red and white pickups .
