Oof, it's a hottie. Ibanez really did a good job coming up with that guitar shape. I love that angled input jack, so practical and looks good. Hate having the input plug poking into the bed/chair I'm sitting on, they way it does with the normal jack-on-the-side designs.

Oh yes lol. I do not know why people hate this brand of guitar. It has not giving me any problems at all. It has the tone I wanted and it looks good and feels good.

Some folk are very polarised - they like something specific and automatically everything else "sucks". l think it's insecurity. ?

My friend has a jackson(don't remember the model name)but it is so uncomfortable.

I agree on this, I owned a Jackson Warrior and it is a very uncomfortable guitar to play standing or sitting. The same with the Jackson Kelly.
Now the Jackson Dinky is a total different story, very very comfortable to play standing or sitting!

So are you considering mods on the guitar soon? Maybe a set of EMG 81/85's ?

When I have the money I will prob mod it. But everything about my guitar is good. I tested it on a roland cube 80x and now that amp is the next thing on my list. It sounded so good. But it cost's R21,000

My passion is playing guitar. Nothing beats it. I practise for hours a day. I love my guitar to bits, Not like my last one(I hated my Ibanez gio)

Roland 80 retails for about 5k , but i can get you one special price of 7500 ..cash up front 8)

I lurve my Ibanezs too. My Prestige is an away-from-home practice guitar so in my mind at least, it's inferior to the other two... except every time I'm reunited with it, I fall in love with it anew. Such a smooth playing sexy piece of kit...drool. (Oops was that out loud.)

Anyway, I just need to tell someone how much I love my RG1527 and it's not worth starting a dedicated thread...so apologies for partial thread hijack. Your guitar is gorgeous Seventhson. Keep piling on those hours. Onward to 10,000.

First lesson: always keep a extra pack of strings with you. 2 packs are even better!

I always over look that fact :-\. I was meant to get a extra pack of string when I got my new guitar but completed forgot(to excited to take it home 8))
