Chances are, If you have a guitar with mahogany, you already have a guitar with African mahogany - Honduran hasn't been used in anything but the highest quality instruments for fifteen years or more. African's not bad, but compared to the real stuff... Cuban mahogany is also nice sounding and is the best looking mahogany aside from figured Sapele.
I had this for a while:
One piece Honduran body, two piece Honduran neck and a Brazilian ebony board. TonePros bridge and tailpiece and Antiquity pickups. Nice guitar, rang like a bell. Unfortunately I never could get used to the neck - specifically the Gibson scale length.
