Do you do computer graphics as well Alan?
Jack of all trades, me. ? I'm not artistic, but I do a bit of photography, a bit of web design and do guitar circuit layout and schematic designs, whatever's necessary (easily described as "anything for money"). Mostly in Photoshop, but just got Smartdraw for the circuit layout stuff. Helps me get magazine work as editors are usually impressed by a writer who understands file formats and layout issues and can save them hassle and money on pro photographers and artists. I even considered doing a typesetting course at one point, but there is way too much crap in the school book industry at the moment.
My wife is a lot more artistic, doing a lot of photography (
