amp conversion from combo to half stack

hi everyone

i need help with converting my ibanez TB100r combo into a head and cab, i also want to insert two rack mount effects into the head, what would be the best way to go about this and also what are the best materials to use. darrengoddard1@gmail.com

Imho what you want is a bit half-and-half. If you're going to go the rack route, you're looking at upmarket effects. The kind you match with an upmarket amp. I can see that you would like to upgrade the amp when you're ready, but would it still sell if you modded it heavily?
Why not keep the amp as is, get the rack, get the effects and then decide? There would only be two leads running between rack and combo. The tone is not going to improve a lot with the mod. Just my 2c.
PS Turnkey have some rack cases on sale IIRC.
