Fender Frontman 65R

Anyone have any experience with this amp?
Would it be a good deal second hand for R2000? A friend of mine is looking at it.

Run away! Decent cleans, nasty overdrive (even by solidstate standards). Tendency to buzz and rattle when turned up.

Thanks. He'll go with pedals eventually, so overdrive is not too much of a problem...
But still, sounds like it's not such a good idea.

I should have mentioned... it tends to make pedals pretty harsh too.
