Neps
Well, well, well... I thought it about time to drop in and give a quick shout out from my side of the world.. And to make sure that the forum is still ROCKING like it should.. And it seems that it is!
Well, from my side of the world everything is rocking on! Just had a big scare a few weeks ago when someone dropped a WHOLE drink on my console, and I had to repair it within 4 hours for the next show!! Luckly I'm brilliant ? and I managed to get it working again like it should..
The musicians I work with are brilliant!! They can sight read ANYTHING.. Do an one hour rehearsal, and do a show the same evening!!
Other than that, work is work.. But I do get to do some awesome things that you generally wont do at home.. Like be at the beach for the whole day, or go diving with dolphins, or go on Canopy tours..
My whole guitar rig setup on this side that I get to work with everyuday consists of Fender Tele's, Strats (all MIA), Fender Deluxe and Twins with 2 Marshall JCM800 stacks thrwon in for good measure.
The gear rundown for the stage is as follows.. Yamaha Birch Satge Custom Drums with a FULL array of Zildjian Avidas cymbals, Fender guitar rig, Hartke and Gallier&kreuger Bass heads with Celestion Cabs, Yamaha Grand Piano & Keyboard.. and just for fun a 5 piece HORN section.
For the guys who lust after sound equipment as much as I do, I get to play with a Crest V-12, EAW Stack array, BSS DSP's, TC Electronic EQ's, Klark Teknik, Summit Audio, Drawmer, Lexicon and much more..
Microphones: The whole Shure BETA and SM range.. AGK C414's, C418's, Audio Technica, Neumann KM range and some other toys.
Other than that.. ROCK ON and have a great Christmas guys & Gals!!

Hey Neps good to hear from you. Let me know if there's a job for a mediocre guitarist who can't sight read and knows nothing else about music, but who is good company.... ?

Love Mexico, you're a lucky fella - music tends to infuse everything there (at least in the South where I spent a bit of time). Going to tour the Fender factory?
