i played through an AVT at a gig once, it was the venues amp (they said they didnt want us to take our amps to speed up the changeover),
biggest fugup EVER. I just could not get a decent sound out of it. I say give it a whirl and see if you like it but I did not have fond memories of it.
I remember it being "harsh" sounding and no matter how much i tweaked the treb, mid and bass, it did not seem to tame it...
