Reinhard wrote Martin D28, seems like a great price:

Plastic still on pick guard.

The D28 also appears to be being sold by Foster along with the Gibson 12 string, and some CAD mics.

Personally, I've never met Foster, but I believe by all accounts he's a legit and straight up guy, so I doubt he'd be trying to swizz anyone?

Cheers

Foster is selling these items on behalf of someone else. He is indeed legit and 100% trustworthy ? That Martin is very tempting ☹

Delta-Male

AFAIK by our very own TI Distribution.

If someone wants to buy that VSA555 for me I wouldn't mind ?

If that VSA555 was in Cape Town for me to try, and I'd sold my Boss GT-Pro, I'd be sorely tempted!

NO! stop it Big G! No more new gear for you. Not only does it make me jealous, but also encourages me.
Where I would normally have some self restraint, your recent gear binge has allowed me the "well Big G has bought more stuff recently" comparison and excuse.

For the sake of my eventual retirement, no more new gear for you!

Thoughts?

A 70's Gibson with a manual and the certificate! Ha! I wonder if someone has a 70's Gibson with original manual's and certificate?

I also noticed that there was a Pensa 'Superstrat' on gumtree in Cape Town last night, for something like R5500! Sounds like either a real bargain or a complete scam?

Unfortunately, I can't get to the link right now!

If someone spots it, take a look, and see what you think?

One point of interest with it is that its apparently fitted with Bartolini pickups, but I was always under the impression that Bartolini only did bass pickups?

Cheers!

Here's the Pensa:

The word "prototype" would give me pause on this one...Might very well be real and a great deal though. Best to check it out.

Big-G

Yup that's the one! Thanks Mr. T!

I like the way he uses the word 'custom' three times in the very brief description! It was difficult to decide whether this should go in the Fraud thread or this one, and something just doesn't seem right, but I guess the 'Prototype' word is the defining one! Guess that's why its priced as it is?

G!

Nice guit, nice preamp & amp, dunno about prices: here

The Gibson 137 looks lovely! Bet it won't be cheap though? Weird that he hasn't put any indication of price at all in there?!

ES137s should go somewhere between 9 and 13 depending on condition, market, case etc.; It would not surprise me if the oke is looking for the higher half of that bracket.

Finally, the price of Behringer stuff is on par with the quality...
