Pardon my French but WHAT THE FOURCHETTE!?!?! Give him a call, play dumb and buy the guitar for that price. Maybe you can bargain him down to R3000.

In all likelihood he missed one zero but who knows, maybe it's a guitar he found in the attic and reckons that's a good price. Honestly, do stuff like that happen in real life?

If they can't tell you the price is a typo it's a scam as clear as water. Most scammers are more sophisticated and state a price closer to the going price. This would be dangerously undervalued at R35,000.

my thoughts exactly.... its either missing a zero or its a scam. I tried calling and it goes to voicemail.....but you never know,,,, it may have been used by some little old lady in church only,,,,,, ?

OK here's the deal...the price is indeed R3500...the guy wants 50% deposit before he sends it by courier.....he's in the Eastern Cape at the moment (just outside Uitenhage) and the guitar is with him...he got it from his uncle whose an auctioneer at a veeeery good price, thus the low selling price....
Decide for yourself guys... :-\ :-\ :-\

Quite by accident really Norman. I know this is a scam so I've been looking out for a similar pic...anyway I've been trying to authenticate my old '70's Les Paul case using google pictures, when I saw this .....so I just made a quick comparison with the one in Junkmail and...wallah ! ?
