Same here. 15k is a pretty decent price for an EJ in good nick.

My apologies, you right, that is a little steep, obviously riding on "it was used by Brian". My only problem with that guitar is, it's a little too iconic!

I don't know these guitars so well, i didn't know where else to post this, but was wondering about what they said there,

Well, It's basically Gibson's own Asian-made copy of an ES-335. I've not seen any that I would rate over a good 335, but they are still decent guitars.

Umm... Yeah... Not so much. It's a common thing to hear someone who couldn't afford the real thing try to justify the one they could afford. After all, if it were all that great, he probably wouldn't be selling it...

No. That's way off base. That's actually a Sheraton, which you can pick up for between R5K and R6k second hand when they pop up.

The last time I saw a Sheraton, it was new for about R7k! I'd say this is around twice as much as it should be. Granted that its a Korean, rather than a Chiwanese, but even taking that into account, I'd say R5k tops! Even at R5k, I'd feel like the seller got a good price for it!

Rated: FAIL indeed.

No way an Epi Sheraton can be considered at that price.
There was a nice Noel Gallagher edition in the classifieds here that really caught my eye for a much better price.
The UK flag emblazoned on it and all.
