MY progress

Hey every one I just thought I share my progress with every one. I couple of months back before I started playing along with the songs I know(Like metallica and slayer) my playing has gotten way better. My timing was so terrible. But now it is fantastic, I can keep up with the bands and my endurance is getting better. Solo's are easer to learn and it really is fun jamming along with your fav bands.

Hey Seventhson that sounds cool. Its fantastic what concentrated practice can do. Makes you feel a whole lot more confident with your playing when you can keep in time with the music eh? Well done. :applause:
The next thing to do is to find someone to play with who is at your level so that you can push each other along the learning curve.

Next step is identify the tempo and play along to a metronome, helped me a lot. There are some cool free bpm identifyers (Dj's use them a lot) online that I use to get the exact bpm - of course ideally you count out or trial and error to get there!

Angel of Death is a lot of fun to play along with. I use Guitar Pro and play along at half the speed and then work it up to full speed.

I use there recording and play along at there speed. I dont trust guitar pro's speed.
