Awesome guitar lessons

Hi

I use www.guitarmasterclass.com for lessons. You pay about R350 for 6 months with extremely professional videos.

They have lessons for rhythm and lead guitar. They do them in style of other musicians like van halen, SRV etc. The
only issue is that you cant download the lessons.

I got a free membership for linking to them from my site (you can do the same!) and found 3 great lessons to take my playing to the next level in no time...

- Chord Inversions
- Speed Stamina
- Ionian Scale Speedpicking

I'm venturing into jazz while trying to also improve my technique at higher speeds.

In any case -- very nice site and not JUST lessons in the style of other guitarists, (which is what almost turned me off) but also straight-forward techniques, exercises and theory that can apply to almost any axeman.

I dont have time to go through their lessons. But my december holidays is coming up and ill be working on some of them.

You can probably learn anything there, as long as you're good at teaching yourself new stuff and self-disciplined enough to practise methodically (with a metronome) and every day.

Admittedly, I'm not as self-disciplined as I should be but I just moved into a new office which means I've separated work from play so I can spend more of my at-home time practising properly!
