I was surfing around on the Callaham website:
http://www.callahamguitars.com/partsstr.htm
... and was fascinated to read about the claims of Fender having inferior vibrato blocks; and how their replacements would guarantee an increase in sustain and frequency response.
They don't speak very highly about the American Standard bridge at all.
In the light of this, what would be the "sweet spot" of tremolo bridges for a Strat?
(i.e. best bang for buck, assuming you're looking for a high end instrument)
Fender bridge + callaham upgrades?
Wilkinson? If so, which one?
Other?
